Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Thready ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a legal agreement between you and Thready.

2. Description of service

Thready is a content repurposing tool that helps users generate Threads post drafts from their existing blog content, schedule posts to Threads, and analyze post performance. The Service integrates with the Threads API (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to publish content on your behalf, only with your explicit approval.

3. Account registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Use of the Threads integration

Thready uses the Threads API to publish content on your behalf. By connecting your Threads account, you:

• Authorize Thready to publish posts to your Threads account when you explicitly approve them.
• Confirm that you own or have the right to publish the content you submit.
• Agree to comply with Meta's Terms of Service and Threads Community Guidelines.
• Understand that Thready operates within Threads API limits (250 posts per 24 hours per account).
• Acknowledge that you can revoke Thready's access to your Threads account at any time.

5. Content and conduct

You are solely responsible for all content you create, submit, or publish through Thready. You must not use the Service to:

• Post content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Post spam, misleading content, or content that violates Meta's Threads policies.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or third parties.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account.
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

6. Subscription and billing

Thready offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. For paid plans:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Intellectual property

Your content: You retain all ownership of the content you provide (blog posts, generated drafts, published posts). You grant Thready a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

Our platform: Thready, its logo, design, and underlying software are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, suitable, or free from bias. You use AI-generated content at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thready shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or damage to reputation arising from content published through the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy. Sections 7, 8, 9 survive termination.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
